Another awesome ride as we wound up and around the majestic mountains. When we reached 2600 feet the road turned to crap....frost heaves here, a dip there, a bump thrown in just to keep it interesting.
The last look back at the campground at Portage Valley where we departed after using their dump station. Actually a well maintained campground nestled with a view in every direction.
You can see the road we were on as we wind up the mountain side.
Even our mid-drive break has an awesome view. It was an RV Park and café. We made use of the café and headed on to Glennallen for the night. No, they don't serve dogs😞. I'm good at waiting patiently in the truck. It was a nice cool 60 degrees. Good napping weather while I waited.
